Home Stretch

So we're getting down to the nitty gritty of school these days. Last night was our last dual meet for track. Saturday we have regionals at hillsdale college. Then we have the TCC meet next wednesday. As for baseball we're doing alright i guess. We won a very close one against Madison on monday night. yah i know its madison and it shouldn't have been a good game but we had a lot of mistakes. I hope that our team will make it as far as what they did last year, but who knows. Last but not least on my blog topics, it is the last week for the seniors. Monday is their last day in school, i wish the best for all of them and hope that they go on to do great things in the future.

Prom

So prom was this past weekend, it was probably the most fun that i have had in quite a while. The only bad thing about prom was where we went out to eat. Jody and i went to Evan's Street Station, which is like a really fancy restaurant in Tecumseh. Anyways long story short for two of us it cost $73. yah kind of ridiculous. I don't think that i'm ever going there again. Anyways i got to drive a sweet car, i took a 1970 chevelle super sport. I took it becasue it was jody's favorite car and i knew someone who had one. The dance was pretty fun except for the dance floor, it was kind of cramped. After prom was a blast, we had relay teams for the inflatable obstacle course, and me and cremeans had a hard fought match in the jousting arena. After after prom Ethan, Jody and myself all went back to pawson's house to watch "I am Legend." We thought we could stay up and watch it but yah there was no way i could keep my eyes open for very long. We got back up at like 7:30 went out and got breakfast at big boy. Then i went home and went to sleep until 3.

Baseball Tournament/Weekend

This past Saturday we had our first baseball tournament here at sand creek. We won the whole thing. The best thing that tops off the win is that I hit my first out of the park homerun in my life. After the first one I came back up to bat and hit another one over in the same spot. I was so excited and relieved that I had finally hit one over. Then on Sunday I raked and shoveled rocks out of my yard for like 4 in a half hours straight. I was raking them out because when my dad plows snow he always pushes it far into the yard and picks up some rocks with it so that is what all of the rocks is from. O.k. has anyone seen Heartbreak Kid? I just rented it and i wanted to know if it was good or not. This week is going pretty good so far we won our game on Monday, but we lost last night pretty bad to Madison in track but that is alright. Today we play Madison in baseball and Friday we play Whiteford in baseball, which is going to be a tuff game because they are a very good team.

Spring Break/Track Meet

My spring break was awesome. We went to Panama city and had a great time. The weather was great. Everyday Pawson and I swam in the ocean, it was pretty cold at first but once you got used to it, it was pretty refreshing. While i was down there i bought a few t-shirts, a hat, sun glasses and a new bathing suit. I am already excited to go down there next year.

Today we run against Clinton. They have a pretty good discuss and shot put thrower, his name is Spencer Krauss. As for their sprinting events and relays i don't know how they will be in them. I think that they will be pretty good because they usually have good speed. Tonight I am doing long jump, 400 meter dash, 1600 meter relay and the 800 meter relay. Hopefully things go a lot better for me than they did on saturday.

Spring Break

So in a few days my family and I are leaving for Spring Break to Panama City. This will be the 4th year that i have went down there for spring break. This year is different though because for the past 3 years i have went down with the Ulrichs but my family was also there. This year however i am going down with my family and i am also taking Jody with me. There will be a lot of people down there from sand creek that i know that are also staying at the same hotel as i am. Pawson is going to be down there at the same hotel as me and we are going to be doing some serious crab hunting. We'll probably do some g-cart racing and putt putting its all a great time though. It's only a couple days away and i can't wait. The ride down kind of stinks though but it is still very fun.

Track and Baseball

So it's another start to a very hectic season for atheltics. I am doing both track and baseball which a lot of schools do not let their students do. It is a lot of work to do both but it is very fun. The only thing that is extremely hard to do is to determine what sport i want to pick for my priority sport. Which means if track and baseball both have events on the same day, which ever event that i pick for my priority that is the sport that i will go to. It is hard to pick because i like both sports equally. I'm going to look at how many events land on the same day and go from there. But it will always turn out to be ok and i will definately have fun doing both sports.

When i think of Easter the first thing that always pops in my head is the easter egg hunts. I always used to have a blast going out and finding all of them eggs that were filled with either candy or money. I used to like the candy better though.

Finally Get to Snowmobile

This past weekend i finally got to go snowmobiling for the first time this year. I rode around 60 miles and had tons of fun doing it. I just wish that the snow could have stayed around for a little longer. Anyways this weekend coming up i will be having another paintball get together. Cremeans will be coming but Pawson says that he isn't so oh well.
O.k. now to answer Mrs. Chambers question I would have to say that "Rocky Balboa." I picked this one just because all movies that Sylvester Stallone is in are pretty sweet. I also like all of the rocky movies. But there are many more reasons.

Big Game Tonight

Tonight we play Madison for our first district game. Hopefully third times the charm for this game, because this will now be the third time that we have played these guys. I know we can beat them if we just play our best game. If we win tonight we will play against the winner of the Morenci, Whiteford game. But anyways we have to win tonight just because i hate loosing to madison. O.k now getting off of the basketball topic, if i had a million dollars the first thing that i would do would be to pay off anything that my family still need's to pay for either for a vehicle or something. Then i would use a lot of the money to buy my dream car which is a 1968 Camaro Super Sport. With the rest of the money i would just use it whenever i needed it.

New Basketball Season Begins!

So after this week in basketball we will be starting a whole new season, districts. We have a bye for the first round which is great. The girls last night played in their first district game and defeated Blissfield. The game was great and Andrea Gallatin had the game of her life. Tonight we play Clinton and Thursday we play Whiteford to wrap up the whole season. Anyways getting away from basketball saturday i am having a bunch of people over to my house to play paintball. If all of the people come that say they will come there will be around 24 people. It should be a great time. For all of the people that are coming over, be at my place at 11 a.m. Anyways for Mrs. Chambers blog if I could go anywhere in the world i would go to somewhere that has a bunch of snow and that when it has snow it just dosen't melt within the next few days. When i say a bunch of snow i mean a lot of snow so that i can go snowmobiling anywhere i want to.

Paintball Back In Trend

This past saturday I had 10 people over to my house to play paintball back in my woods. It was quite wet out and it was also extremely windy out. The "arena" that we play in is almost like the perfect size and it also has boundaries. There are bunkers in most of the woods but there is one area that needs to have some more. So Friday Matt, Pawson, lil Ulrich, Eaton and I are all going to go back there and work on it. Anyways this past Saturday was awesome me and Ulrich were usually on a team and we totally dominated Matt's team. But we had eaton and Gallant on our team, the did alright. We plan on playing every two weeks. It is great fun if you want to come play with us just let me know.

5 Day Weekend

So this past weekend we had 5 days off. Friday and Saturday I did not do very much at all but on Sunday I went over to Pawson's house to watch the super bowl. Which was probably one of the greatest games that i have ever watched before. You can even ask Cremeans and he will tell you all about it. Monday I went to the girls basketball game at home against Madison. They won. Last night our team played LCS we lost, but it was a pretty close game. I really like the 5 day weekend thing i think we should have one every week!

Schedule

Tonight we play Britton, we beat them pretty good last time but any team can win at any time. Tomorrow hopefully we do not have school becuase we are supposed to get a lot of snow tonight up to 8 inches i heard. Saturday should be fun i think that i am going to go out and watch "Rambo". Has anyone seen it yet, i heard it was good. Then sunday i am going to pawsons to watch the Superbowl. Which the patriots will probably win again but oh well.

Rough Loss!

So on sunday my Packers lost a very close game to the New York Giants. The score was 23-20 the packers had their chances but did not take them to their advantage. The game went into overtime because the giants kicker whiffed on a field goal and the packers got the ball first. The second play of overtime Favre threw an interception. The giants kicked a field goal and won it by three. I was not very happy at all. Now the Giants and the Patriots are playing in Super Bowl 42. But this week we have 2 big games against Clinton and Morenci. They both should be great games and i hope to see all of you there.

Go Packers

So my Green Bay Packers won easily over the Seahawks this past saturday. The score was 42-20. Ryan Grant did not start the game off so well but he game back and rushed for 201 yards and 3 td's. Favre didn't have very many yards but he threw for 3 td's. The weather was awesome because it was snowing extremely hard. Since the cowboys lost to the giants, the giants now have to come up to green bay to play. Which is awesome. If the packers win this weekend against the giants then they will advance to the superbowl to play against the winner of the New England and San Diego game. Which will probably be New England. Oh well though everyone said that green bay couldn't make it this far but looks like they did.

Big Win

Last night we won a big game against Morenci. We were down for quite a bit of the game but not by alot. Freddy came out with some awesome shots with like 1 minute to go to let us win. Friday we have another huge game to play in, its against Madison. They are extremely good and they have some good basketball players. We definately can win this game we just need to be calm and not have so many turnovers.

Back To School

Today is our first day back to school from christmas break. How did everyones Christmas and New Years go? Mine went great for christmas I got a bunch of presents. My favorite one is my lap top that my parents got me. I got a lot of clothes and a few other things. New years eve went great Jody, Ethan and I all went out bowling and then Jody and I went over to the Ulrichs house for New Years. My whole vacation was awesome. Now I am looking forward to Spring Break! It's going to be awesome.
